Breathe

Music HighwayThis may or may not have happened to you, you hear a song for the first time and, like love at first sight, you love it. So it was with me regarding this Christian song called Breathe sung by Rebecca St. James.

It was early in the morning one day when I turned on the radio to WIHS 104.9 FM and first heard the song. The radio station, I am almost sure, had played it several times before, but on that day, as I continued listening, and after about
a minute, I knew this was just a great song that
was having a tremendous spiritual impact on me.

The song is that good!

Why did I fall head over heels over this song that morning? Hmm?

Was it because of the supporting instruments accompanying the singer? Yes.

Was it because of the rhythm of the song? Yes.

Was it because of the way it was sung by Rebecca St. James? Yes.

Was it because of the lyrics? Yes.

Was it because the mood I was in caused me to readily pay attention to the song? Yes.

Was it because God caused WIHS 104.9 FM to play it at the right moment I would be most receptive to it? Yes.

Was it because God perhaps caused me to be listening to the song at precisely that moment in time? Yes.

Was it because Rebecca St. James has a strong resemblance to my cousins on my father’s side of the family – a Caro? Yes.

Was it because the song reminded me about the times in the past when I came close to losing my faith in God and feeling lost about the consequence of living this life in a meaningless existence without God? Yes.

Was it because God, on several occasions, helped me go through extreme trials and situations? Yes.

Is this a way, of many ways, that God works with me? Yes.

Is God good? Yes. Yes. Yes.
God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good. Wait! That’s another song!

Anyway, the video below, excellently produced and uploaded into YouTube by CHRISTelle27, I pray will uplift and inspire your spirit as it did mine.

God bless.
